A safety briefing is easier to understand when the format suits the topic. Add clear written points, upload a demonstration video, drop in the PowerPoint you already present from (it is converted so it pages on a phone), and attach a supporting PDF or photos, all on one talk record.

Put assigned toolbox talks on the engineer dashboard
When an engineer has a talk assigned, a Toolbox Talks tile appears on the Field Ascend mobile app dashboard. It shows the number still to complete and opens a live list of pending and completed briefings.

Connectivity note: the talk list and the final submission need a connection. Answers in progress are saved on the phone, so a dropped signal mid-check does not lose them. This is separate from the app's offline job sync.

Confirm the message landed with an understanding check
A signature proves someone was there. It does not prove they took anything in. Add a short set of multiple-choice or true/false questions to any talk and set the pass mark, say 80%. The sign-off stays hidden until they pass.
